About
ICOS, the Integrated Carbon Observation system, is a European research infrastructure dedicated to understanding the European greenhouse gas (GHG) balance and its perturbations, by observing GHGs in the ecosystems, the atmosphere and the ocean through integrated national networks. ICOS is the European pillar of a global GHG observation system generating knowledge to support science and policy decision making in the face of climate change. The standardized and quality controlled data from the observations are freely accessible to all users at the Carbon Portal.
